Porting guide for mediatek
BY this guide you can port rom
In porting the ROM which you are taking as base to port is called base ROM and the ROM which you are going to port is called port ROM
Conditions for porting
->Both base and port ROMs must belong to the devices of same chipset
->Both ROMs must be in same android version
->Both ROMs must be in same android version
NOW START PORTING
Copy these folders from base to port
->META-INF
->Boot.img
->system/lib/
hw
modules
modules
libaudio.a2dp.default.so
libaudio.primary.default.so
libaudiocompensationfilter.so
libaudiocustparam.so
libaudioeffect_jni.so
libAudiofe_V1.so

if there are any other audio file copy that also

Unbrick your XOLO Q1000 OR Q800
Things Required:
1. A PC with windows and a USB cable
2. SP TOOLS HERE
3. VCOM Drivers dropbox Link HERE
4. SPTOOLS flashable ROM

Instructions:
Download all files for your device and place them in a single folder on your PC for easy access
Extract VCOM.rar and install Drivers according to your PC OS (x86 or x64)
Now extract the SPtools flashable rom in a folder
Extract SPtools and run the application (Flash_tool.exe)
->Click on scatter loading and select the scatter file that you’ll find in the folder where you extracted the ROM

->Click on Firmware–>upgrade and it will search for the device
->Switch off ur phone and connect it with pc through usb cable
->The tool automatically detects your device and starts the flashing process
->First a red line will come den after few seconds blue lines will be visible and then yellow
->Finally a green circle will appear which denotes flashing is complete
Now unplug usb, switch on your device and your device has been successfully unbricked :-)

Instructions:
-Download the ROM zip and Place it in Your SDCard
-Goto your Recovery Mode (CWM/TWRP)
-Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache , Factory Reset, System, Android Secure (FOR TWRP)
OR
Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache, Data/Factory Reset (FOR CWM)
-Install the Zip and READ EVERYTHING carefully and Follow Instructions
-1st Boot Might take upto 3 Minutes So don't panic
-After 1st boot Read the Following Notes
NOTE:
The WIFI cannot be turn on after 1st boot
Just keep toggle bluetooth switch until it turns on
Then reboot and WIFI is fix
NOTE2:
The ROM installs app on SDCard by Default
If you want apps to be installed on Internal Storage
Goto Settings>Storage> Preferred Install Location
Select Internal Device Storage there
NOTE3:
After every reboot you might see a dialog box
Saying that default app Storage changed to SD Card
Ignore It !!!!!
NOTE4:
ViPER4ANDROID is pre-configured in the rom
All you need to do is open the app
Load Effect Profile > Xperiabass
NOT5:
To go to QuickSettings Swipe the notification panel down with 2 fingers

Q- Xposed not working?
A- Make sure that all Xposed apps are in Internal memory and not sd card and update again.
Run App Manager and Move Xposed and Gravity Box or all other modules to Internal Memory.
Run Xposed and in Frameworks again Run "INSTALL/UPDATE" and reboot.
Now just UNCHECK Gravity Box and RE-CHECK Gravity Box.
This worked perfect on Z2 on my phone. It works on other phones too.
Q-Camera shows 6MP instead of 13MP?
A- change preview mode from full screen to 4:3
Q-Apps lose data on reboot?
A-Make sure you have that app in Internal storage and not sd card.
Q- feeling scrolling is slow?
A-Install Xposed Installer and xuimod, open Xposed Installer, tap on framework and Select install/update, don't reboot, Goto modules and tick xuimod then reboot.
Open xuimod and goto scrolling mod>scrolling configurations>set scroll friction to lower than 20
Q-How to switch between the Sims while calling or messaging?
A- Use The top-left icon on the notification panel to switch between Sims
Q- How to install OTA?
A- After Downloading OTA from OTA updater uncheck all options and press install, it'll reboot to recovery, there Goto Install>sdcard (external storage) >OTAupdater>download>update(zip) and flash it then reboot
Q-How to switch between Notification Panel and Quick Settings?
A-Drag the Notification Panel with two fingers for Quick Settings
NOTE : While installing it will show aroma of project doge

Q- Xposed not working?
